Ok well i have done a lot of changes and now i can access a media folder but it does not have the same content as the one availalbe through the http. So it seems I have 2 different media folders on my NAS.
One of the problem of the share folder definition in frontview is it does not show the location/path of the shared folder which would definetly help!
What I did is I removed all CIFS... etc.. HTTP in my share listing for the media folder and added them back again in Read/Write. And in the Advanced Options activated once the "Set ownership and permission for existing files and folders in this share to the above settings. This option is useful in cases where you are changing security levels and need to workaround file access problems." in Read/Write option.
Can anyone share the options they use in CIFS etc.. HTTP including the Advanced options on their media folder in order to havec access from explorer in Windows 7?
