Hi mdgm,
It was working fine on that old firmware. Each disk in the nas is about 1TB. Would you still recommend updating the firmware?
I uploaded the logs to my dropbox here

Hello dday1,
When it is not joined to the AD, it's normally set to Local Users / Users, are you not able to access any shares when that is how the NAS is set to? What error message do you get? Please post a screenshot.
Also, are the DC and NAS in the same subnet?

Hi JennC,
The Security Mode was always set to ADS. I've never changed it to Users. The DC and NAS are in the same subnet.

Hello dday1,
You have mentioned that you are having trouble joining it to the AD which i supposed you mean joining it again, then this means NAS is on Users mode, is that right? When it is on Users mode, can you get to the shares? How do you open it by the way, is it using \\nas_IP or \\hostname?

Hi JennC,
Sorry for the late reply. This is how it looks. I never put it on users mode before. When I tried putting it on users mode, it changed over successfully, but I still couldn't access it. I usually access it by using \\hostname.
