Cannot access share from new computer
Hi, I built a new replacement system with a fresh copy of Windows 8. I need to get at the shares I created with an old Windows 7 computers. When I look at the share, \\nas-pro\shares, on my Pro 6...
If your NAS is using "share" security you should change it to "user" security. http://readynas.sphardy.com/2010/09/how ... _4917.html
Once done, you can certainly use frontview to change all your shares to "everyone" access. Or use windows credentials manager to set every PC to use the same logon/password when accessing the NAS.
