Cannot access share from new computer
Hi, I built a new replacement system with a fresh copy of Windows 8. I need to get at the shares I created with an old Windows 7 computers. When I look at the share, \\nas-pro\shares, on my Pro 6...
That is the correct settings. You can also go into the "advanced" tab and reset the owners and permissions there.
Set the "Set ownership and permission for existing files and folders..." check box, and then press apply. When it completes there should be a popup. The completion will also be logged.
Also, is network connection on the Windows 8 system set to "private"?
