Cannot connect to ReadyNas Ultra 4 server via ethernet or direct
Need some help! Just recently I'm having difficulty accessing my ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Server. It is connected via a network and router however I have also tried a direct connection to the computer via the ethernet port/cable without success.
When I open RAIDar with the server directly connected to the computer, it does see the server and shows the status as 'Healthy' however when I hit the Admin Page or Locate buttons it shows the message 'Your NETGEAR storage is not accessible from this computer. Check your network settings.'
The ReadyNAS is set to a static IP as per image
Can anyone help me access my server. Thank you

Does your PC have an I.P. address in the same range?
How was the static I.P. set? In your router's settings or in Frontview for the NAS?- MickeyDalAspirant
You've made me stop and think and yes I had to do a hard reset on my router last week becasue of some issues. In doing so the IP range reverted back to 10.0.0.1 and now all this makes sense. I've since changed the range to 192.168.1.1 and we're back on board! Thank You for asking the question. The NAS has the fixed IP in the Frontview settings. All works again!

Glad it was something simple.
