Cannot drag and drop files to default Music folder
When I drag and drop folders containing music to the data/Music folder, nothing happens. Do I need to change a setting on the folder in order for drag and drop to work?

- I can drag and drop .mp3 files, but not a folder containing .mp3 files. Is it possible to drag and drop folder containing music files?

Where are you dragging them from?
How are you viewing the share contents?
If it's a PC, does the PC user who is logged in match a user/password on the nas who has permissions to write to that share?
Are the nas and PC in the same work group? - I'm dragging them from Finder on a Mac. There is no workgroup involed here. I tried changing the folder settings to allow "All" types of files, and still cannot drag and drop Folders from Finder.
- I don't have mac so not sure.
Check the permissions of the mac folders as well as the nas shares.
AFP is on?
What about the users/ passwords?
Dose the problem happen with all folders or just the ones with mp3 files in them?
Try creating a new folder and dragging it across, what happens?
