Cannot log into my NV+ v2 /admin ... Windows-7 problem?
Hi, I just bought and installed a Ready NAS on a home network with
1 xp XP machine, 1 x W 7 32 bit and a W7 laptop.
For the first few days I was logging into the admin account a few times a day quite ok, but then
suddenly my login was not accepted. That was on the XP machine.
Could this be related to the original post?
I too could still access my shares and all files.
I will try again from the W7 machine but by the sounds of it I won't get anywhere.
I would appreciate any suggestions on getting my access back.
Thanks

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserOP has a v1 NAS not a v2, so I am splitting this post off onto its own thread.
If you just purchased a new unit, then you are entitled to 90 day free phone support. You can also use support.netgear.com to create a case. If you do either, edit this post's title to include the case number.
What firmware is running on the NAS?
When you say you are logging into it, are you using Frontview (the web interface) or Windows Explorer?
