Cannot reach the ready NAS server but ping works
Dear all,
I just got a problem while using rsync on Mac. It was working a while but then after one day rsync stopped and lost the connection.
I tried to ping and it works. To mount via MAC OS does not work, SSH does not work and the web interface does not work as well.
The display is dark. No sign of an IP or smt. else.
Should I make a hard power off reset or wait some hours?

What NAS and what firmware?
Were you seeing dropped connections before this?

Hi StephenB,
Firmware I do not know - because the NAS is down.
Now, I cannot reach the NAS via ping any more.
The exact name of the NAS is RN 10400.
How I could see it:
"...
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (2278 bytes received so far) [sender]
..."
And on the web interface did not say anything.
I am going to switch it off now.
