Canon Image Runner D660
Hey Guys,
I have an older canon printer. I am trying to use my ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus to share out the printer. I went to the Printer Menu and its says " No USB printers detected. You can connect a USB printer to an available USB port on the ReadyNAS to automatically share the printer among Windows and Mac users on your network."
Do I have to turn on the USB ports or something?
Any help would be great!

- Passenger57AspirantHave a similar problem with a brand new Canon D420 I bought, tried to hook it up to my NV+ with the same results. Had no problems with a Lexmark E322 and an Epson printer previously.
- Not all printers will work unfortunately. I have an old ip4200 that is picked up by the NAS, but it seems newer models don't always have the current drivers onboard. Take a look through the Hardware Compatibility List for printers, you might get a few clues there.
