Can't access ReadyNAS Pro 6
Hello friends, As the title says, I have an old RNDP6000 and I can't access it. It had been turned off for a long time. I'm using Windows 11 Pro. Its readout shows it is on and displays it...

After he updates the firmware, he can install the add-on I linked in, which will add TLS 1.2 support to his NAS.
Yes but how do I update the firmware? Nothing happens when I hit the update button. This is why I was asking: Am I toast?

Can you post a couple of screenshots so I can see exactly what you are doing?
You should be doing this:
You do need to click past the register screen (using "Later"). Then choose the binary (extracted from the zip), and then "upload and verify image". After that completes, there should be another pop-up to confirm the install.
Disable the pop-up blocker in your browser for the NAS admin ui.

Here are screen shots of what I've got.
Here is the screen with the System rolldown opened. Notice there are no tabs on top like in yours:
So I click on Update in that rolldown and all that happens is it rolls back up. I've tried this numerous times.
Please let me know if you need more info/screenshots. Many thanks

FWIW, I never ran 4.2.15 firmware. My own Pro 6 was purchased shortly after 4.2.17 was released.
You could click on register, and then see if you can skip over the registration process. That might get you to a point where you can upload the binary.
It is also possible that your very old firmware isn't behaving well with current browsers. So you could maybe try saudade's suggestion to use an older FF.
Let's circle back a bit...
Do you care about the files on the NAS?
If so, are you able to access the files on the NAS using Windows Explorer?
- enable SMB 1/CIFS in Turn Windows Features On or OFF
- Enter \\192.169.1.2 in the windows file explorer address bar
What are your future plans for the NAS?
