Can't access web GUI setup
Recently have been unable to login to the frontpage gui, but Raidar still sees the NAS and the shares still work. When I try to use the gui, I never get prompted for a username/password. All started when I was trying to add the NAS to my Readycloud. Is there a lockout if the password is tried too many times? This is going on for about 4 days now.
Tried Win8.1 Pro & Win 7 Ultimate with IE and Chrome to access the GUI.
Tried reloading the OS twice now and even attaching the Pro2 to a different router on a different subnet. No luck. I updated it previously to OS6, so support from Netgear may be an issue. Was running 6.1.4. I see that 6.1.5 is now out. Is there a was to update the NAS to 6.1.5 via USB stick? Is that worth a try.
Since I can access the shares still, I already backed up everything to another drive. Is a factory reset the last resort? Would it reset to OS6 again?
Any help really appreciated.

Really appreciate the quick response. - philipGoodAspirantHello everyone, I have the same issue on my end as well, but unfortunately, I do not remember the app I uninstalled to cause this. Is the solution the same? I'm a bit of a noob with little to no knowledge of ssh or similar protocols.
Any help is greatly appreciated. - philipGoodAspirantmdgm is a BOSS!! My problem was fixed in minutes!
Mistakes happen, but great support often makes up for it.

- lantechsupportAspirantHi guys,
I've lost access to the web console....and just found out that I shouldn't have uninstalled an app. Is anyone around to fix it for me please?
Netgear 314 in tech support mode now. Not sure how you find it but I guess you've got a fancy phone home support that runs in tech mode.
