Can't backup to FTP
Hi, I've got two RN10400 with three 3TB HDDs in each. One is for photos and music, the other serves as backup place. At first I wanted to use built-in ReadyNas Replicate function for backup purpose...

You need to enable FTP as a service in the destination NAS, and also make sure the destination path is configured for FTP. Of course the backup job also needs the correct credentials and path name.
But if you want to do incremental backups, it REALLY is a bad idea to use FTP.
The fastest way to get it started is to configure a backup job for NFS, run it once, then edit the job and change the protocol to rsync.
