Can't connect to SSH/Frontview on NV+ after upgrade FW 4.1.8
Hi, I upgraded my Ready NAS NV+ to firmware version 4.1.8 using this from the SSH command line: # cd /tmp # wget http://www.readynas.com/download/RAIDiator/RAIDiator-4.1.8 # echo /tmp/RAIDiat...
I did a "Reinstall OS" / "Reinstall Firmware" and this seems to have rescued everything :D.
I had to reset the admin and the root passwords separately but other than that, everything was intact.
I was pleased to see that the firmware that got "reinstalled" was the 4.1.8 version to which I updated, not the original 4.1.7 version.
Go I guess, the case is closed. Thanks all for your replies!
P.S. Unfortunately I discovered that there is no Java for NV+ because there is no Java for this kind of Sparc processor. So all the trouble was for nothing. Oh well..
