Can't print using ReadyNAS duo

I am still having the same problem except that now I'm using Win 7 Pro 64bit instead of XP. I followed the instructions in AgeStor's post, and added it to the network through he ReadyNAS ,setup port 631 on my router. The print queue window comes up and none of the print jobs are listed. The printer doesn't respond at all.
any ideas?
this is really irritating, as the printing from the network functionality was a major factor in purchasing the Duo.
