Cant upgrade from 6.1.8 !!!!!
Ok guys, girls and others
My 314 wont let me upgrade. When I log in with either IE or Chrome it prompts me to upgrade from 6.1.8 to 6.2.2, I hit the OK button, flashes a downloading screen for 5 seconds then returns to main screen. If I try a manual upgrade, it does similar, asks me where my upgrade file is, says that it is loading for 5 secs, then return to the settings screen.
I have rebooted the device and tried both manual and automated upgrades straight after reboot. I have tried manual upgrade of 6.2.0 and 6.2.2 to make sure the binary is OK, I have downloaded in binaries in both Chrome and IE to make sure they are OK.
NOTHING will let me upgrade from 6.1.8 to 6.2.x.
Have I missed something?

It should normally work. Not sure why it didn't in your case. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredFixed. Turns out the ownership of several files was messed up due to a bug with an old version of the Transmission app.

Have you also tried with the manual update? Do you get any error messages? - KamiloAspirantManual gives same result. No error messages, after downloading (or uploading for manual) window just disappear.

If so, one option would be to:
1. Verify your backup is good
2. Do a factory default (wipes all data, settings, everything)
3. Update to the latest firmware
4. Verify the firmware update was successful
5. Do another factory default to get a clean setup on the new firmware
6. Restore your data from backup.
The new version of the Transmission app ( 3.00.8 ) does not have the issue the old version (3.00.6) did. So you could also install the new version of the Transmission app. - KamiloAspirantDid factory default, and now it works :)
