Does your router or switch support jumbo frames?

Perhaps try a direct connect from the ultra to a PC, and see if you can run frontview that way.

If your ultra is set up to use DHCP, what you do here is
    (a) connect an ethernet cable directly between the NAS and the PC (nothing in between)
    (b) set up the PC connection temporarily to use
    IP address 192.168.168.100
    subnet mask 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.168.1

Then open a browser and enter https://192.168.168.168/admin

If it works, then turn off jumbo frames.
  • yah my switch does support jump frames (GS108T) I had it on LACP but had one ethernet cable disconnected to do some other stuff. I reinstalled OS and got back in.

LACP and jumbo frames don't play well together on the GS108T (or the GS716T/GS724T either). Been there, done that...

That's what I found. I went with LACP, and have jumbo frames turned off on my network.
