Very well, but what IS that overhead? "Some" isn't much of an answer, lol. There's no tests that you guys have run that say for example: "on average, use of compression with /drives X from the HCL/ results in a 5% reduction in overall read performance, and a 10% in write performance on a ReadyNAS 104."?
