Confussed about upgrading a RN10200 from MyNetgear.com account to ReadyCloud
I am very confused about upgrading my NetGear RN10200. I registered the product as NetGear sent me an email to upgrade my MyNetgear.com account to ReadyCloud. I do not seem to have originally creat...

My login password is for a MyNetGear Account - the ReadyNas 102 is not associated with this account.
When I go to http://readycloud.netgear.com/client/en/welcome.html on this page I cannot setup the ReadyNas as it is not found. I can find the ReadyNas using Raidar and have upgraded the firmware and can login using the admin/password but this is not a properly setup - ReadyCloud account.
So I can not migrate the ReadyCloud account to a Mynetgear Account using the instructions after you click on sign in. I seemed to have set-up a username and password for a MyNetGear Account but the ReadyNas is not associated with it?
Any ideas as to what I should do?

Hello MGalle,
Please see this answer below that is also posted at ReadyCLOUD to MyNETGEAR Single Sign-On FAQ
I'm a new user; do I need to sign up for a ReadyCLOUD account first to upgrade to MyNETGEAR account?
No, when you configure your device for ReadyCLOUD, you can register your new product to a MyNETGEAR.com.com account and use the MyNETGEAR login to begin using ReadyCLOUD.
If you enter your myNetgear account in the admin page > Cloud > ReadyCloud, what happens?

Hi
My problem was that the setup page did not see the RN102000. Raidar does but only allows a basic setup. However it gives the serial number and the setup page takes you to a ReadyNas Admin page. Still not given the option I see in the manual to setup or manage but has a host of options including system, shares, isci, accounts, network, apps, cloud. Backup.
Accounts wants me to enter authentication – including DNS Realm, Admin Name, password just for Local users.
Cloud has a ReadyCloud option which requires Proxy, Type Address etc.
Because the setup page cannot and never has seen my NAS I have a host of problems to set it up and am far from doing so. Even then I would be using Ready cloud and not MyNetgear.
When I turn off my machine I will need to use Raidar to get the serial number and then have to go to the setup page and enter it manually just to get back to these options.
Raidar just lets me use it as a local device which what I am limited to with inconvenience.

Hello MGalle,
When you say setup page, are you referring to ReadyCloud? The admin page of the NAS is the one that you will get when you type http:// followed by the IP address of the NAS that shows up in the RAIDar (ex. http://192.168.6.12).
Can you post a screenshot of what exactly you are getting and where you get problems?
Also, using ReadyCloud means you need to use myNetgear account. During the FW release 6.5.0, migration from ReadyCloud to myNetgear also followed, which means logging in to ReadyCloud needs myNetgear account and all ReadyCloud accounts need to be upgraded to myNetgear account.

This is the install page but as the NAS cannot be found you get this -
The software fails to find the NAS.
Raidar does find the NAS and gives the Serial Number (Partially hidden for security reasons).
Raidar gives a number of different functions.
You can see the admin page.
The Router which may be the problem?
Raidar Page with ReadyCloud you can attempt to install from here.
If you try install from Raidar or enter the serial number on the install page and then try and install you get the same page -
You have to use Raidar or enter the serial number each time you want to use the NAS.
