Control Panel Password
This is probably the wrong section to be posting this. I couldn't find the appropriate section. I am having a problem with share access and file permission but I can't even enter the setup of my ReadyNAS NV+ V2 (RND4000). I tried searching for the password on Google. I have tried resetting the firmware and then trying both "infrant1" and "netgear1" but neither work. What do I need to do?

- chirpaLuminaryIf its a v2, then the password would be 'password'. User name 'admin'.
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserUse this guide to confirm the platform version: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/
- Marto731AspirantRicky,
The p/word may have been changed in the past.
An OS re-install will reset to default, and this will not affect data.

The procedure details are different for the ARM (V2) and Sparc (V1) platforms, so be sure to use the guide I linked in above first.Marto73 wrote: Ricky,

Many people with V1 units think they have V2. The labeling is confusing, which is why you should use the guide. - RickyJAspirantThanks for the replies everyone. The password was indeed "password" :)
