Copied files with rsync protocol not visible in browser

I have a RN10400 running 6.1.9 and have found something strange. I have enabled rsync and are testing to transfer many files from my Imac using rsync.
Have approx 30000 files that I use as a test. Using this command rsync -av --progress /Volumes/.../My\ Files/ 192.168.0.28::folder/Test.
I can see the files transfer over and also see them in finder but I can not browse them using the webinterface. I see the folder Test but it is empty in the webview?
What are I'm doing wrong, or is it a bug/feature. I was expecting to be able to access these files remotly using the readycloud.
If I use rsync -av --progress /Volumes/My\ Files/ /Volumes/nas/share-name/ they are transfered and visible in all views.
So why is deamon mode hiding the files ??

I have good things to say about the snapshot feature ...it saved me more than once ...

I guess somehow the ownership or permissions are getting messed up on the files when using daemon mode.
  • So what can I do, bug or feature ..
Is it supposed to work ?
How can I find what is wrong?

  • I think that rsyncd is creating the files with user rwx, group ---, other --- and user is the loged in user and the group is dialout instead of users.
And the web as admin is not allowed to read ..., is rsyncd started with wrong umask ?
How is this supposed to work ?

What should the permission and access be set to in order for being able to use rsyncd to save files with rsync?
