corrupt root on rnd2000 v2

Hi there,

So i have a RND2000v2 (says so on the bottom of the unit)

Last time i powered it... almost 1.5 years ago, since then i`ve removed the old disks and never did power it up since.

Now i need it again, but when i power it, it says corrupt root on my RAIDar app, (so i introduced new disks into it, unformated)

I`ve tried the reset method, pressing the reset button, then powering up the unit, it blinks the 1+2 disk led twice then it just keeps the #2 led on and does nothing, i cannot use the backup button to change the boot option, it just hangs in there, not even the power button is responsive, i need to unplugg it to shut it down.

What can i do ? the unit was stored properly, why can`t i reset it ?

This is the first time a netgear hardware is bugging me, and i have switches, routers, etc...
