Cortrolling DLNA to certain files and folders?

I'm trying to view photo's and videos on my Panasonic Smart Viera TV but I can't see any way to control this DLNA function to restrict it to just certain files and folders? An example is if I select "Photos" on the Smart TV it starts by showing me my "Album Art" files from within my music folders?? Yes I know these files are photo's because they are .jpgs files but surely there's a away to say not photo's below a certain pixel size or file size, I don't want to see my 600x600 pixel album art pictures displayed at 55 inchs on my smart tele lol

If on the other hand I select Video's I can't seen to access all my videos, it goes off searching the network and after a short while it just says network failure? but doesn't tell me what the problem is??? I think it might be as I have just so many files stored on the NAS it's just too many entrees for it to handle?

Any advanced help in getting this to work would be greatly received

Thanks
