Could not connect to volume
Hi,
I have tried a few times to connect FileZilla to my ReadyNAS Duo v2 volume but every time I tried it I could only seen the directory "media". But half a year ago when I tried that I've seen the whole volume. What can I do that I can see the whole volume?

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserIs FTP enabled for every share?
- Eric12345AspirantI think so. Here's the Picture of my FTP configuration:

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThat just means the FTP service is enabled and running (and available for the home shares).
Look at the access protocols for each public share, and make sure FTP is turned on for them. - Eric12345AspirantOk, I turned FTP for each share on and I can access to each but I would access to the whole disk. Is this possible?

If you turned it on for home shares, and every public share, then you can access the entire disk. The one restriction is that you'd only see the home share for your user login (which is always true for home shares).Eric12345 wrote: Ok, I turned FTP for each share on and I can access to each but I would access to the whole disk. Can you clarify what you are wanting to do? - Eric12345AspirantI want to have the full overall view of my NAS including the whole linux operating system. Like the Windows main hard disk C:\
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserNo, you can't do that from the dashboard. I don't think its wise to access the the operating system partition that way anyway (for security reasons). Microsoft hides the equivalent folders on the Windows main disk.
You do have everything else though. - Eric12345AspirantSorry, I think you don't understand me. I want to see that all from FileZilla (FTP Client) not from the dashboard.

You can't set up FTP access of the OS partition from the dashboard. Personally I think that's a good thing, but opinions probably will vary. I am still wondering what you would do with that access - given the limited size of the OS partition, it is not a good place to save stuff.
If you are handy with ssh, you can probably go in and reconfigure the ftp server to do what you want. - Eric12345Aspirant

I want to have a full website on my NAS so that I can configure owncloud. Is this possible?
