Different network speed on shares, same NAS, ReadyNas 104

Strangely, if I run the same test on its IP \\192.168.0.128 it's way faster than over the local name \\PIWI-1

Do you have ipv6 enabled on the NAS? If you do, try disabling it.

a bit confused on the first bit, since ipv6 is not a per-share setting.
What firmware are you running?
Is the PC connected with ethernet or wifi?
Also, I am wondering what results you get with strict sync enabled.
