disk 2 failure on pro
ok i have a dead disc in my r/nn pro . it is saying it is dead . the unit is 96% full .. can i replace (add) a drive with with bigger space say 2/3tb . could i replace it with something like this Tosh...

You need 2 of the largest size drives to get the full space. There is an 8 TiB growth limit to the volume - though if you have a 4-slot model it is pretty hard to hit it. If you do, you'd need a factory reset. (That might be a good idea in any case, though it requires a full backup, since the data and config are wiped).
And you do need to sort out the firmware upgrade problem first, as 4.2.9 is too old to support the larger drives.
