Disk configuration on ReadyNAS Ultra 4
Hi everyone, I just received my brand new ReadyNAS Ultra 4 from NewEgg and this is my first NAS, I just want some advice to configure it correctly. Disk Setup Maybe I have done something wrong, ...
Just to let someone who read this, the problem was the green drives, never use that kind of drive on that NAS..., and maybe other NAS too. They are not built for this and are quite slow. I bought 2 x 3Tb WD Red drive instead and they were up and running in 6 hours, the normal time for a drive to resync itself.
