Disk not recognized

Hi,

I was trying to setup my readynas but my disks are not recognized.

I'm able to see the NAS on the network (with no disk though)

I tested my two disks and they are healthy.

Is it a connectivity issue ? Any idea on how to fix this issue ?

Thanks,

Erwan

Can you wipe all partitions on the disks in the system you have used to test the disks?

    Hi ErwonB

    Welcome to the Community!

Are you getting Corrupt or Used disk error message?

Have you tried accessing the Boot menu and doing a Factory reset with the disks? If you had done this and you still experience the same issue, you may want to try a different disk instead or you still have warranty for your NAS, contacting NETGEAR Support is also a good way to have this resolved as there might be an issue with the chassis or the OS itself.

    ReadyNAS: Accessing the Boot Menu

    Hope this helps!

    Regards

I was able to completely wipe out my disks but the problem remains the same when I try to power on my NAS the blue power and the green LED are just flashing constantly.

So I guess my NAS is dead :/
