Disk upgrade and log messages meaning
Hi, I am upgrading to redundant X-RAID with Seagate Enterprise NAS 8TB disks I get this message: 1- Resyncing started for Volume data. 2- Volume data health changed from Degraded to Redunda...

When you installed the second drive, there were two resyncs needed.
The first one is to resync with the 4 TB volume.
After that there is vertical expansion to the 8 TB volume. A new 4-TB "upper" RAID-1 layer is created on both disks, and that also needs to be synced.
I suspect the vertical expansion is what you saw.

2 Seagate NAS Drives of 4TB each, with a healthy state, replaced by 2 Enterprise NAS Drives of 8 TB each
By the way, I had to drill holes in the drive support plate. The Seagate drives have 2 screw holes not at standard place
Every thing is fine now, except that extra resync I still don't get and mainly, that is not shown in email alerts/logs

Thank you for your answer and sorry for the delay to mine!
I just was surprised because no clear description was provided in the logs
maybe this needs to be adressed ?
