Does it exists an "ftp" supporting the download resuming ?
Hi guys !
I'm actualy bored by internet continuous cutoffs, during ftp downloads.
I use an ftp save task on my RN104 to download the lastest files from my seedbox to my NAS.
Unfortunately, my seedbox provider encounters many micro-disconnections... what cancels my backup tasks.
Is it possible to replace the "ftp" command, by a more advanced version that supports resuming ?
Every help would be the welcome ! :)
Thanks you all, in advance,
Jojo90

A resume option in the FTP backups is a good suggestion. Perhaps post that in the idea exchange, to get it on Netgear's list.
I don't know of any apps that will do what you want.

Hi,
The Resuming option for FTP protocol exist on ReadyNas (OS6+).
Go to System > Parameters > Services
Then click on FTP
On new window you can configure several advanced options for this protocol like the "Resuming upload transferts" displayed "Allow upload resumes" in ReadyNas OS v6.7.5 Web interface.
Also see the following article for commun ReadyNas:

oh ok right.
He can use a ftp client on seedbox to upload data to his nas :)
