Dropbox gets crazy with latest NAS update
Installed the new firmware for NAS today and suddenly NAS re-syncs all files, over 1 TB with cloud dropbox. It will take over 3 months for me to sync 1 TB so that means I can’t backup new data within the next 3 months. Why is this happening? Someone should get fired. Now

I have discovered the root cause to what you're experiencing, and it'll be something we'll have to work on. There is no software fix to apply at this time.
I'll ask that it is looked at with high priority and also ask that it is addressed in one of the upcoming maintenance releases.

I have actually given up. I dont use the NAS anymore, the dropbox backup has never worked. I will go back to copy to harddrives and hide under my med (year 2016)
The amount of time I have spent to make this work is huge. If I knew from the beginning that it has never worked it would have saved me a LOT of time.
Please dont say that you have Cloud service with dropbox because you dont.

We do have Dropbox support, but there is a high priority change we need to make.
