Dropbox gets crazy with latest NAS update
Installed the new firmware for NAS today and suddenly NAS re-syncs all files, over 1 TB with cloud dropbox. It will take over 3 months for me to sync 1 TB so that means I can’t backup new data within...

We do have Dropbox support, but there is a high priority change we need to make.
Seeing you have a RN314 there is also a 3rd party app you could try: https://rnxtras.com/addons/dropbox-manager-readynas-6-x86

No, you do not have a functional sync between RN314 and Dropbox. Every time a file syncs, the file get a new timestamp. That is not a sync, that is changing a file and then sync.
I have tried to explain this both to you and dropbox and no one of you cares. I am not paid to test your NAS, you shuld act and test for yourselves.
I have now an expensive 2TB SSD disk in my laptop that syncs directly to dropbox, works perfect. The NAS is OFF.
When I was working as a programmer we used to joke, "Exept the fact that it doesnt work, what do you think about it?"
Thats were you are.

As we have stated we will work to fix that issue.
In the meantime you could try the 3rd party Dropbox app which doesn't have the timestamp change issue.

This should now be fixed in ReadyNAS OS 6.7.0 which is now available!
Do note that it won't undo timestamp changes that have already occurred.
