Erro 300 in Readynas replicate
Getting a failed replicate between two RN314's both running 6.5.0 Exit code: 30 (Data send/receive timeout) The backup is over the local LAN. Any ideas?

Hi mallisette,
Can you copy/paste the latest log from the replicate portal please (for the job in question)? Rather than just the summary. So we can see more details.
Cheers!

Thanks for logs.
Ok so there is no problem with acutally connecting and initializing the job. It also correctly detects the LAN connection, that is good. It also does copy for quite some time. Over a peiod 5-ish hours it runs and copies. Eventually it seems to break down with a timeout.
From looking at the speed of the copy it seems to be very slow! 1.27MB/s (10.24 Mbit/s). This is on the LAN so surely it should be much faster? Are you running a full Gbit network? Or do you have 100 Mbit bottlenecks? From what I can see it is a huge job - 24+ TBs.
What if you simply transfer files manually from NAS to NAS. How fast is the speed? Also, check the destination NAS has plenty of free space left.
Lastly, are these NAS units always going to be on the same LAN? If so, you could use local rsync instead.

The copy failed again this weekend 6-8 August. So I will get answers to the questions in your previous post.
Ultimatly the sync will be over an Internet connection but the data delta shouldn't be too big. It's a small office with 6 users.
Many thanks
Mike
