/etc/hosts file overwitten with old values on ReadyNAS 1500
/etc/hosts file overwitten with old values each time we restart ReadyNAS 1500 system. Each time we boot system, we have to modify this file. So, any idea why is happenning this issue? Thanks ...

Why do you need a custom /etc/hosts file?
We are using rsh from an unix server, to call to the NAS to call some files, however, each time we reboot NAS, the UNIX host dissapeared on /etc/hosts file, so rsh give me errors and on syslog file on NAS system records "system didn't recognice host". When we modify /etc/hosts file inserting the UNIX host, it works again.
Some idea about the script you mentioned? Where can I configure to launch at boot time?
Thanks in advance.

Gabriel
