Finder crashes when trying to access content

Wonder if it is .DS_Store file related.
Are you experienced with using the Terminal? To navigate to the /Volumes/x path for the NAS, and find hidden files (.DS_Store) and remove them?
Also, wonder if changing this would affect your issue: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1629 It won't create the files, but if they are already there, the crash may continue.
