Flex-Raid not using Global Spare

I am running two Flex-RAID volumes where in one of them one of drives died. I replaced the dead one with a (used) disk and used the Web UI to destroy the existing data on that disk, formatted it and clicked the Global Spare button. I would now expect the Flex-RAID to take that disk automatically to rebuild the volume, but nothing happens. The replacement disk is also shown in black and not green (which the docs say it should be when being a Global Spare), while the log files say: "Volume: Successfully made disk on channel 5 a global spare disk."

How do I rebuild the volume?

Try selecting the volume, then the disk.  There should be an option to add the disk to the volume.

If I do this, I get the attached view. Where do I have to click?
