Folder copied from Mac won't open on PC
Having what might be a very simple issue here. I have a folder on my Mac that I am trying to store on my ReadyNas Duo (RND2000). I have tried copying it to various folders using a direct to serv...
I sort of figured it out. If I log in as a user and copy a file from Mac to ReadyNas and then log in as the same user on my PC, I can access the video file. I don't see any way to reset all the permissions on the shares I've set up. Will have to figure out how to do that and just forget about internal security for the moment. Considering just switching completely to Mac to not have to deal with these issues as spending hours to figure these sorts of dilemmas detracts from actual work.
