You can reset all the permissions in a folder through the "advanced options" tab in Frontview. (go the share listing page, select CIFS and then the "advanced options" tab on the upper right).
You'll see a checkbox with text saying "Set ownership and permission for existing files and folders in this share to the above settings. This option is useful in cases where you are changing security levels and need to workaround file access problems."
Set the permissions, check the box, and click apply at the bottom. The checkbox will immediately clear, and you will get a pop-up window when the action completes.
