From RAIdar - setup, I get nothing (page not available)
I've moved to a new house and took my old ReadyNas with me. I've plugged it into the router (restarted router afterwards). When I start RAIdar, it finds my NAS immediatly (all green lights). But wh...

You are trying to configure the NAS as a DHCP server but you need to configure it as a DHCP client.
Disable the service on the page you are on (clearing the checkbox and click apply). Then go to the Network->Interfaces menu, and select "Use values from a DHCP server" in the IPv4 assignment field.

Today I took my NAS back to my old home. I still have my old router there, so I thought, when I connect my NAS to my old router, it will be in the same subnet, and I will be able to access it. And yes, I am able to access it there. So now I wanted to switch to DHCP. But, when I try to do that, it throws an error (see attached file). Since it's in Dutch, I will translate it for you 'Conflict IP address/DHCP Pool information. The IP-address of this device cannot be configured within the DHCP addresspool. So now I'm lost...
I also tried adding this IP-address into my router config (see other part of attached file), but that didn't help.
I know you said 'put your laptop to a static IP and connect your NAS directly to your laptop' but I'm also not sure how to do that (I think I can set my laptop to static IP but not sure how to connect my laptop to my NAS).
I'm sorry that I have to bother you with all my questions but I really hope that you know how to fix this issue.

Thanks! That helped.
I just went for the first DHCP thing that I saw... I know just too little of these kind of things.
So I managed the first part (get it off a static IP). Now I have to take my NAS back to my new place and try to do the 2nd part of your first reply.
I hope I can manage this on my own. But I will let you know. Thanks again!

Now that it's off static IP, it should be a piece of cake via RAIDar. If you need a set address for your NAS (which always makes things easier), it is better to reserve an address for it in your router instead of using a static IP. It keeps down problems like this one.

You we're right. Last step was a piece of cake.
Thanks a lot for your help!
