FTP Setup - Masqurade As) help

ok, I have updated the firmware n both my router and my NAS, and nothing changes. The NAs still will not resolve the dynamic DNS address for the FTP Service, os I have to enter the public IP of my router, and I can not connect. Canyouseeme.com still times out and can not make a connection, FTP clients fail to connect. So< i am still in the same predicament as before. I have contacted my ISP and they tell me they are not blocking port 21, so I am stumped as to what the issue may be. Help?
