Global Spare

Since the latest update 6.7.1 OS 6 i see there is a new feature as my nas is already using Xraid i am not sure how this is of benefit to my system could anyone share any light on this new feature fr...

    You could alternatively create a RAID-6 / dual redundancy volume.  If you are ok with the slower write speed of RAID-6, it might be a better option - there would be no need to resync when a disk fails.
