Group permissions
Is there anyway to force files to inherit group from parent folder and not user primary group?
Using the directory's set group ID bit to control group ownership also fails.....
While, chmod g+s will set the dir perms to drwxrws---
Which documentation says anything saved in that dir will use the dir group not the user primary group. -
BUT NOT on the Ready NAS 2100v2 (4.2.26) or any previous versions.
Am i setting up users & groups incorrectly ?
How do others setup shares so that users from multiple groups can share files.
Because once a user with a unique primary group saves a file, thats it - NO ONE else can even read it. ( i dont want others perms)
