StephenB said it and it can't be emphasized strongly enough--you MUST (not just "should") backup your NAS regularly, lest your business fail along with the NAS. You also need a UPS for sure, so you need still to spend another $200-300 at least which will be cheap insurance against a hardware failure.
You might consider putting the NAS on a schedule to turn-off at night, but IMO that is not practical given someone might want to work after hours.
