So I got my first Mac today (Retina MBP), and I'm trying to connect to my ReadyNAS, where all my media, docs, etc. are stored. I enabled the NAS for Time Machine, and I got it to backup without a p...
Yep, all I did was enable time machine on the readynas and gave it 500 GB. With the MBP, I had no problem doing the backup. When enabling it on the ReadyNas it automatically enabled the AFP protocol, but didn't turn it on for any of the shares or turn on either of the advertising services (Bonjour, AppleTalk).
