Help needed

A couple of weeks back a BT engineer called to upgrade my phone line - whilst upstairs he managed to knock out the mains lead to my ReadyNAS Duo. Owners will appreciate that this is very easy and a shortcoming in an otherwise good product.

Plugging up and turning on however didn't do the trick - RAIDAR couldn't see it.

My first effort with a paperclip in the reset hole, got some response but RAIDAR declared that I had a corrupt root (sounds painful but didn't mean anything to me).

Next effort (today) all the liitle lights came on on the unit and RAIDAR found it and the screen looked kosher. However, any attempt to engage the device is met with an error message "the device is not responding"; Windows fault jobbie merely served to confirm this.

It's connected via a Netgear gig switch to my wired LAN. I normally access it via its IP address, which RAIDAR can see but not my Laptop.

The gig switch is working as I can access my printer and the internet.

Any knowledgeable folk out there with thoughts/ideas to fix this will earn my eternal thanks etc.

    What status is RAIDar reporting?

BTW, You might want to open an on-line support case- If so, you should put the case number in the title of this thread.
