How to clean up the system volume "root" without factory reset to improve the ReadyNas performances?
One of moderators said me that my "root" is too full.
How can I clean up the system volume "root" without factory reset to improve the ReadyNas performances ?
Is there an application or add-on on Netgear ReadyNas market place to download and could help to clean up the system like the CCcleaner app from Piriform?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,

You'd need to SSH in as the 'root' (no quotes) user and have a log around e.g.
# mount --bind / /mnt # du -csh /mnt/*

Here the log:

You'll have to do things manually from SSH.
Please send the output of the following commands:
mount --bind / /mnt du -d1 -h /mnt/
- gyves1LuminaryHere the second result

I have installed the add-on log analyser to know if I can see something wrong or bad...
I see some a lot of errors:
- ERROR: Can't change dir to /var/lib/clamav
- Failed to start ClamAV virus database updater.
- (*system*php5) WRONG FILE OWNER (/etc/cron.d/php5)
- clamav-freshclam.service: Failed with result 'exit-cod
- fvamazon __acd_io_generic_readwrite: acd io read write error (1) after retrying 0 times!
- jak0lantashMentor1.2GB used on a 4GB volume is not a concerning situation. You certainly have some apps installed which makes the used space a little bigger, but there is nothing more to it ;)
