How to set up a UPS
Im no networking expert and have hardly any idea what I am doing. First off i would like to know how to how to set up my APC 550VA. Will it work if i just pass the ethernet from the modem to my Netgea...
The ethernet passthrough is 10/100 so you want to ensure that the surge protection is placed on a connection where you don't need a gigabit connection - probably between modem and router, not within your lan.
