That still involves a factory reset
But OS6 doesn’t have the expansion limits that RAIDiator-x86 has.
Running OS6 on legacy NAS is not supported so regular backups are even more important than they would be otherwise.
An advantage of running OS6 is easy migration to an OS6 ReadyNAS down the track when you are ready to get a new NAS.

I should have typed that since a factory default was planned......you could also consider OS6 :smileyembarrassed:
