Indexing contents of ReadyNAS for search?
What are some options for indexing the contents of the ReadyNas to make searches for content much faster? I took a look at the BeeZeet add-on but never got it to work. Also not sure if the web int...
I assume that your ReadyNAS shares are mapped to Windows drive letters, and your "searches for content" are initiated through the built-in Windows Search. I would imagine that in that situation, the Windows indexing service would work on your NAS shares as well as on all your other drives. Is that not true (or have I misunderstood your basic setup)?
