Inexpensive NAS for over 4TB backups - recommendations?

Another idea:
Would it make more sense to enable snapshots on the Pro rather than the 104 backup? Are snapshots on the Pro kept in a directory outside the C volume? If so, it seems that would solve the problem since we're only backing up C.
