Thanks!! But when I went to my for the ReadyNAS IP 192.168.1.12/admin, it asked for a user ID and password. I don't know what IDs or password is required? Any ideas?

Hi kesch,
If your NAS is a Duo v1 the default admin credentials is admin for username and netgear1 for password. If is a Duo v2, the default admin credentials is admin for username and password for password.
In case that did not work, the admin password might have been changed. You can change it back to default by doing an OS reinstall. Here is the link for the steps on how to access the boot menu and select the OS reinstall:
